What to expect at your consultation

Our pharmacist-led weight loss consultation is designed to help you find the most appropriate and effective way to achieve your weight loss goals.

During your appointment, your pharmacist will:

  • Discuss your weight loss goals and previous attempts to lose weight
  • Review your medical history, current medications, and any existing health conditions
  • Measure your height, weight, and Body Mass Index (BMI)
  • Assess your suitability for weight loss treatments, including prescription medications where appropriate
  • Provide advice on nutrition, physical activity, and healthy lifestyle changes
  • Explain available treatment options, how they work, and any potential side effects
  • Arrange ongoing reviews and support to help you stay on track

The consultation is confidential, and focused on helping you achieve sustainable, long-term results.

We aim to keep all Mounjaro strengths in stock, so once your consultation is complete (and eligibility confirmed), you should be able to leave with your pen the same day.

Side Effects and Safety

Like all medications, Mounjaro may cause side effects. The most common side effects include:

  • Nausea
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting
  • Constipation
  • Decreased appetite

These side effects are typically mild and subside as your body adjusts to the medication. Serious side effects are rare but may include pancreatitis or kidney problems, so it’s important to follow up with your healthcare provider regularly.
