What are Medical Trials?

Medical research is the process of learning more about health, illness, and the best ways to treat or prevent disease. It includes everything from understanding why conditions develop, to testing new medicines, medical devices, and diagnostic tools. Research can involve simple questionnaires, new treatment approaches, digital health tools, or long-term studies that follow people over time.

Every discovery in healthcare from vaccines and cancer treatments to everyday medicines exists because volunteers took part in research. M&D Green have partnered with Clinical Research organisations across the world to allow our patients access to research.

Taking part in research is always voluntary, and your safety, privacy, and wellbeing come first. By choosing to participate, you play an active role in improving healthcare for yourself and others. Research helps doctors and scientists develop safer, more effective treatments, understand different patient experiences, and ensure new solutions work for people of all ages, backgrounds, and communities.

M&D green will only inform you of trials that are of significance to you given your medication history. You’ll be given clear information about what a study involves so you can decide if it’s right for you. Whether it’s answering questions, providing a sample, trying a new treatment, or using a digital tool, your contribution helps move science forward and can shape the future of healthcare for generations to come.
