Job description
We are looking for a full-time Dispensary Assistant to join our team based in Bellshill.
You will be a key part of the team, assisting with the assembly and supply of medications.
You will be flexible in your approach, be able to communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals and hold or be willing to work towards an NVQ level 2 in Pharmacy Services or equivalent. Further development opportunities will be available to progress your career in pharmacy.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Receive and process orders coming into the pharmacy
- Ensure stock levels are maintained correctly
- Keep records to facilitate the role of the Pharmacist
- Maintain electronic records
- Consult directly with other healthcare providers.
You will have:
- Basic computer skills
- Previous Pharmacy experience (desirable)
- Achieved or working towards Dispensing Assistant Qualification (desirable)
