About Us
Westray Pharmacy is situated at Westray Circus in the Milton area of north Glasgow, just off Ashgill Road and it’s junction with Ashfield Street. There is ample free on street parking in the square outside the pharmacy. First bus No’s 75 and 8 pass frequently along Ashgill Road and Ashfield Street train station is less than 5 minutes walk away.
The pharmacy has recently been refurbished and now incorporates a large consultation room and private area to provide more privacy for patient consultations.
Westray Pharmacy puts delivering care in the community at the heart of everything they do. With no medical centre in the immediate vicinity, the pharmacy has become for many the first point of contact for NHS services. The pharmacy staff supports the community through NHS priorities such as the NHS Pharmacy First Service, the Medicines: Care and Review Service, and are part of Glasgow’s palliative care network.
The extensive prescription collection and delivery service which calls into every surgery in the wider area on a twice daily basis, further supports the many patients who are registered with GP practices outside of Milton.
The pharmacy also provides a successful Smoking Cessation Service, Emergency Hormonal Contraception, Compliance Aid assessment and supply in a friendly and professional manner by appropriately trained and qualified staff.
